Stellenbosch, who finished third last season, have decided not to renew the contract of a player who joined them in 2024.

Details: The club officially announced that Brian Onyango is leaving after the expiration of his current deal. He made eight appearances across all competitions and played a role in helping the team qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup.

Quote: "Everyone at Stellenbosch FC would like to thank Brian for his service to the club and wish him all the best in the next chapter of his career," the club said in a statement.

Incidentally, following the official unveiling of midfielder Siphesihle Mkhulise as an Orlando Pirates player last week, details of his transfer to the club have also emerged.

Reminder: Relebohile Mofokeng has turned down offers from two Israeli giants — Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Both clubs held talks with Orlando Pirates.
