Stellenbosch FC coach reveals upcoming reinforcements: Who's who!

Current Stellenbosch FC coach Steve Barker has revealed that the club is looking to bring in more names to the squad, with two new signings already in place.
The team ended their Betway Premiership campaign with a goalless draw with Cape Town City FC in the City Derby, and secured a place in next season's Confederation Cup after finishing third in the competition.
They were knocked out in the semi-final round after facing Tanzanian giants Simba AC, who finished as runners-up.
Speaking of signings, their coach confirmed that the club has secured the signing of a South African junior international as well as the Motsepe Foundation Championship's top scorer.
What did Steve Barker say?
Stellenbosch FC head coach Steve Barker has openly discussed the club's January transfer window plans while confirming the imminent exit of captain Sihle Nduli.
Active in the Transfer Market
"We're strategically strengthening key positions," Barker stated. "These deals require patience - certain dominoes need to fall before finalizing our moves." The tactician emphasized their behind-the-scenes activity, hinting at multiple incoming signings once current negotiations progress.
Captain Nduli's Departure Confirmed
The 29-year-old skipper, who led the side against Cape Town City this weekend, will not renew his contract. Strongly linked with Orlando Pirates, Nduli leaves with the club's blessing.
"Sihle embodies everything we value - leadership, passion, and commitment," Barker praised. "While we're sad to see him go, we support this next chapter in his career."
Squad Restructuring Underway
Beyond Nduli's exit, Barker revealed several other contract decisions pending as they reshape the squad. "We're evaluating all positions carefully," he added, suggesting more departures and targeted reinforcements are imminent.
