Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas (ATP 12) won the prestigious ATP Masters tournament on clay in Monte Carlo. In the final match, the Greek overcame the resistance of Norwegian player Casper Ruud (ATP 10). Both players caused upsets in the semifinals. Tsitsipas defeated the young Italian Jannik Sinner (ATP 2), handing him only his second loss of the year. Meanwhile, Ruud emerged victorious over the world's top-ranked player, Novak Djokovic, in three sets.

The first set was entirely one-sided, with Ruud taking just one game in a little over half an hour before conceding the set without much resistance. The pivotal moment came in the second set's tenth game. With the score at 5-4 in his favor, Tsitsipas broke Ruud's serve to clinch the victory in the prestigious tournament.

Casper Ruud (Norway, 10) - Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece, 12) - 1:6, 4:6.

This title marks Tsitsipas's 11th career ATP title. His last victory in an ATP tournament was in August of last year.
