Senegal national team goalkeeper Édouard Mendy has signed a new contract with Saudi club Al-Ahli.
Details: The agreement runs until June 2028 and was finalized today following negotiations with the club's sporting director Rui Pedro Braz.
Mendy himself commented on the contract extension:

I am proud to be part of this family and to represent these colors. Thank you to the management, coaching staff, teammates, and fans for believing in me from day one.” - said the Senegalese goalkeeper.
Mendy has been playing for Al-Ahli since 2023, when he made the switch from London side Chelsea.
This season, the Senegalese keeper has featured in eighteen matches for the Saudi club across all competitions, keeping clean sheets in seven of them.
Reminder: Al-Ahli forward Ivan Toney was arrested in London following a serious bar brawl.
