Staying in Spain? Nico Williams' agent meets with Barcelona representatives

Nico Williams remains a highly sought-after player among Europe’s top clubs, and Barcelona is firmly on that list, showing clear intent to sign the talented winger.
Details: According to Sport.es, Barcelona’s sporting director Deco recently held a meeting with Nico Williams’ agent. While it previously seemed the club had abandoned the idea of signing the winger, last summer the transfer was very close to completion, though the discussion has quieted down in recent months.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich has ramped up their pursuit and is reportedly ready to pay Athletic Bilbao’s release clause for the player. Williams himself would not oppose staying in Spain and joining Barcelona, provided his registration with the club does not present any issues.
Earlier, we reported that Barcelona is also interested in Liverpool’s Luis Diaz. However, the Blaugrana may once again face challenges registering new signings. To achieve their transfer goals, the Catalan giants must optimize their squad.
Reminder: Athletic Bilbao’s winger Nico Williams has indicated to Bayern that he is ready to join the German side. The Munich board is already in talks with the Basque club.
