"Stay away from your favorite pills": Haney fires back at Teo Lopez

WBC super lightweight champion-in-recess Devin Haney recently announced his imminent return to boxing.

This announcement clearly didn’t sit well with Teofimo Lopez, who mocked Haney, calling him a "trash punk."

Haney wasted no time firing back, urging Lopez to "stay away from his favorite pills."

Quote. "Teo had the audacity to try and offer something to someone, but here he is begging... I told this n***a he'd be fighting for crumbs as long as he's with Bob Arum! Meanwhile, I’m making real money.

You talk about Black people, but you need a Black man to make money, you son of a b***h... Stay away from the pills you love so much. You know exactly what I’m talking about," Haney posted on X.

Reminder. In 2024, Haney fought once, losing to Ryan Garcia in April. However, the bout was later ruled a no-contest following a positive doping test from Garcia.
