The match featuring one of the current season's Ukrainian Premier League frontrunners couldn't kick off as scheduled.
Details: We're talking about the UPL Matchweek 20 clash between LNZ and Oleksandriya. The encounter was halted even before the opening whistle due to a widespread air raid alert across Ukraine.
At the moment, Cherkasy's LNZ are sensationally sitting second in the league table, fighting for the very top spots in the championship. Currently, they're trailing only Shakhtar Donetsk. The showdown against Oleksandriya was set to be another resilience test for the side from Cherkasy, who have emerged as one of the season's favorites.
However, instead of battling it out on the pitch, players, coaching staff, and stadium personnel were forced to quickly move to safe areas.
Reminder: Dynamo Kyiv's Senegalese winger Samba Diallo has joined Rukh Lviv.
