Star reinforcement for RCB! Josh Hazlewood arrives at the team camp ahead of IPL 2026
Royal Challengers Bangalore have received a long-awaited boost ahead of the new season's kickoff.
Details: According to Cricket Central, Australian star pacer Josh Hazlewood is already en route to India and is expected to join the team's training camp in Bangalore today, March 26.
This became possible after the 35-year-old title defender received final clearance from Cricket Australia's medical staff following a lengthy recovery from Achilles and hamstring injuries.
Although Hazlewood is likely to miss the season opener against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 28 due to acclimatization requirements, his full-fledged IPL 2026 debut is expected in the blockbuster clash against Chennai Super Kings.
It's worth noting that the clash between these two giants is scheduled for April 5 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
