Stamford Bridge expansion remains the only path. Chelsea have no realistic chance of building a new stadium

Chelsea’s new owners, who took over the club in 2022, have been pushing for the construction of a new stadium, but significant obstacles stand in the way — and the project is becoming increasingly unfeasible.
Details: According to The Athletic, hopes for a new arena in Earls Court have all but vanished. The Hammersmith & Fulham council has approved redevelopment plans for the site of the former exhibition centre, which will now be used for new housing, retail space, and hotels — developments expected to create new jobs. As a result, there is no room for a stadium project.
As for the team’s performances, we previously reported that Chelsea’s primary objective remains securing a top-four finish. Enzo Maresca is highly valued within the club and will be judged on more than just trophies.
Reminder: Chelsea dismantled Barcelona 3–0 in their UEFA Champions League Matchday 5 clash and are now focused on preparations for the derby against Arsenal. The London club hope Palmer recovers in time to feature.
