Dalot was joined by his partner, and together they volunteered by serving hot meals to those in need. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness about homelessness and supporting those affected.
"Diogo and his wife were brilliant and got stuck in - it was a real mood lifter for all. We rely on donations and the good will of the people of Manchester, so are truly grateful for all the support that's enabled this week to take place," said Jahan Hussain, a trustee at Lifeshare.
Lifeshare runs a special Christmas project each year, keeping its doors open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. The shelter provides food, hot showers, clean clothes, and footwear to anyone in need during the holiday season.
