Sporting's management denies £59 million price tag for Gyokeres

Lisbon Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres remains at the center of attention for several clubs, but his transfer could prove to be quite a challenge.
Details: According to Record, Sporting's management has denied claims that they are prepared to part ways with the forward for £59 million. Sources report that the player himself is extremely unhappy with the club's position and no longer wishes to play for them.
He believes the club has broken a gentleman's agreement, under which he was supposed to be allowed to leave for the specified amount.
Earlier reports stated that Sporting is now demanding €80 million for Gyokeres. Such terms have left the Swede feeling "angry" and convinced that the club has reneged on promises made to him at the start of the season.
Recall: Manchester United is named among the contenders for Gyokeres, and while no club has yet submitted a formal offer for the Swede to Sporting, it is believed that Old Trafford will do so soon.
