Sporting super talent Quenda agrees contract terms with Manchester United
It looks like Manchester United is in for a busy transfer window this summer, and it has already been revealed which player will be the first to move to Old Trafford.
Details: According to Ben Jacobs, young Sporting Lisbon wingback Geovani Quenda has already agreed to a five-year contract with the Red Devils.
Rúben Amorim believes that United is in dire need of a player of this profile on the flank and is pushing for the signing of his former protégé. It was under Amorim’s guidance that Quenda broke into Sporting’s first team at the age of 17.
The transfer fee for the 17-year-old Portuguese talent is expected to be around €45 million.
This season, Quenda has recorded 2 goals and 7 assists in 38 matches across all competitions.
Reminder: Yesterday, reports emerged that Manchester United could sack Rúben Amorim in the summer and replace him with Xavi.
