Sporting president unsure if the club can keep Gyökeres this winter

One of the most pressing issues for Lisbon's Sporting is the future of their top scorer, Viktor Gyökeres, who has long been linked with moves to other clubs. While the Swedish striker has previously been convinced to stay, the club's confidence in retaining him is waning.

Details: According to Sporting president Frederico Varandas, the future of the Swedish forward is uncertain, and he acknowledged the challenges involved.

Quote: "It's very, very difficult. Nothing in life is impossible, so I can't say for sure... but I would say it's extremely difficult and complicated," Varandas was quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

Reminder: Varandas had previously expressed regret over the market value of the striker, noting that players of a lower caliber than Gyökeres are priced higher. The club is unlikely to sell the Swede for their desired sum of €100 million.
