Sporting lowers price for Gyökeres: What can Manchester United expect?

Sporting forward Viktor Gyökeres has attracted significant interest from top clubs. However, the interest remains speculative for now, with no concrete offers yet.

Details: Insider Ben Jacobs revealed that Sporting has not received any offers for Gyökeres, and in light of this, the Lisbon club has lowered the player’s price to €70 million.

Quote: "At this point, it’s still a bit premature. Sporting hasn’t received any offers yet, but we can say that the price for Gyökeres has dropped from €100 million to €70 million.

This makes him somewhat more affordable and, of course, his salary and agent fees are lower compared to another historic target for Manchester United—Victor Osimhen. However, they might be looking for something more economical or potentially within the Premier League," Jacobs said.

Reminder: With Ruben Amorim’s potential move to Manchester United, Gyökeres has become a frequent subject of speculation, with many linking him to a move to Old Trafford.
