Sporting CP Demand €40 Million as Nottingham Forest Push for Ousmane Diomande

Nottingham Forest are continuing negotiations with Sporting CP over a move for Ousmane Diomande, but the Portuguese champions are reportedly holding firm on their valuation of the defender.

According to transfer journalist Ben Jacobs, Sporting are demanding a minimum fixed fee of €40 million before considering the sale of the Ivory Coast international.

"Understand Sporting wants a minimum fixed fee of €40m for Ousmane Diomande as advanced talks with Nottingham Forest continue. Forest remain optimistic," Jacobs reported.

The 22-year-old has attracted interest from several clubs in recent months, including Crystal Palace, where he was previously linked during Oliver Glasner's time at Selhurst Park.

Now in charge of Nottingham Forest, Glasner is keen to reunite with Diomande as he looks to strengthen his defence ahead of the new season.
