Sporting Lisbon is on the verge of securing its first signing for the 2025/26 season: the Brazilian winger Alisson Santos, aged 22. Currently, on loan from Esporte Clube Vitória to UD Leiria, the player is in advanced negotiations with the Portuguese club, and although the deal is not yet finalized, significant steps have been taken towards its completion in recent hours.
There are still some details to be resolved before the transfer becomes official, according to A Bola, despite the specialized journalist Fabrizio Romano announcing an agreement until 2030. The talks are expected to conclude in the coming hours.
Alisson has not been called up for Leiria's last three matches. Although his coach, Silas, denied it was a punishment, he stated that he only counts on players "100% committed to the project." With 6 goals in 18 matches this season, it is not ruled out that the player will join Sporting immediately to begin his adaptation.
