Adrián Sporle is nearing a potential transfer to Belgrano de Córdoba as he looks for more playing time after falling out of favor at Independiente. As reported by TyC Sports, negotiations are ongoing, but the main obstacle is the defender’s contract, which runs until December 2025.
The 34-year-old full-back joined Independiente at the start of 2024, making 33 appearances and scoring twice. However, he did not feature during the recent Apertura campaign and has been told he’s not part of Julio Vaccari’s plans. Belgrano is interested in signing him this window but does not want to pay a transfer fee for a player set to become a free agent in six months.
To resolve the situation, both clubs are exploring a mutual termination of Sporle’s contract without financial compensation. While nothing has been finalized, talks remain active, and all parties hope to reach an agreement soon, allowing Sporle to join Belgrano for the upcoming Clausura.
