Legendary Ukrainian wrestler Zhan Beleniuk won a bronze medal at the 2024 Olympic Games and then announced his retirement from sports.

However, his last Olympics left an unpleasant memory. During the Games, Beleniuk had his watch stolen. The Ukrainian athlete shared this on his Instagram page.

"One of the unpleasant moments of the Olympics was that my watch was stolen. Some of the guys also had their money and personal belongings stolen, most likely by the cleaners in the Olympic Village.

They did it closer to our departure, so there wouldn’t be time for publicity. In Brazil, thefts occurred throughout the Games, but here the thieves were a bit more cautious," Beleniuk wrote.

By the way, the next Summer Olympics will be held in 2028 in Los Angeles, USA.
