Auckland City's player Gerard Garriga spoke about his opinion about facing Inter Miami at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Gerard Garriga said in statements to the official website of FIFA: "Any player in our team, or in most of the teams that will participate in the tournament, will say that this is the most important moment in his career.
I am very happy to participate in the next edition and I can't believe that I am able to play in a tournament of this magnitude, I would like to get an Inter Miami shirt, it will be an important opportunity to face Lionel Messi.

I would be happy to play against any European team, Manchester City, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, it's really incredible to think about facing some of these teams, the opportunity this tournament gives us to face some of the best clubs in the world and some of the best players in the world is fantastic."
