"Speaking frankly" Hugo Broos reveals Bafana's fortunes after AFCON draw

After the unveiling of the four groups at the Africa Cup of nations 2025, the meeting was held in Morocco with the end of the draw ceremony, which ended on Monday and was held in the city of Rabat in the host country, Morocco.

South Africa will face several names in Group B, including Egypt, Zimbabwe, and Angola. Therefore, this group will be one of the most difficult to take the lead in due to the high competitiveness witnessed by these three teams to get a serious ranking after the end of the group stage.

In all frankness, Bross stated his opinion that the Egyptian national team is expected to be the leader of the group.

Despite the bad championship they played in the last edition, and they didn't perform the performance that everyone expected from them either, but I think that last year or the last year and a half, they started to build a good team, they performed very well in the playoffs, so it will be the team to beat and maybe get the first place.
