Spanish Grand Prix: date, time and where to watch the Formula 1 race


This weekend, Formula 1 returns with the Spanish Grand Prix, taking place from June 21 to 23.
This Formula 1 race is held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmelo, near Barcelona. The Spanish Grand Prix was first included in the championship calendar in 1951 and has been held at the Catalunya circuit since 1991.
This year's Spanish Grand Prix will be the tenth round of the World Championship, the sixty-sixth Spanish Grand Prix in history, and the fifty-fourth as part of the Formula 1 World Championship.
The most successful drivers in the history of the Spanish Grand Prix are Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton, each with six victories. The Ferrari team holds the most wins among constructors, with 12 victories. The reigning Spanish Grand Prix champion is Max Verstappen.
Spanish Grand Prix 2024: where and when will it take place?
Since the event in Spain will include not only the classic race but also practice sessions, the weekend for drivers will span three days.
- On Friday, June 21, there will be two practice sessions starting at 13:30 CET and 17:00 CET.
- On Saturday, June 22, the third practice session will begin at 12:30 CET, and qualifying will take place at 17:00 CET.
- On Sunday, June 23, the race will start at 15:00 CET.
