South Korean archer Lim Si-hyeon has won her third gold medal at the 2024 Olympics


Today, August 3, medals were awarded in the individual women's archery tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Lim Si-hyeon from South Korea won the gold medal in the individual women’s archery event, defeating her compatriot Nam Su-hyeon in the final. Lisa Barbelin from France took the bronze medal.

It is worth noting that South Korean archers have won the gold medal in the individual women's archery event at every Olympic Games for the past 10 Games in a row.
This gold medal is Lim Si-hyeon's third at the current Olympics. She had previously won gold in the team event and mixed archery. Additionally, she set a world record in the women’s individual preliminary round, scoring 694 out of a possible 720 points.
