South African Premier League: schedule, results, and table for the 26th round

This weekend, we're once again looking forward to matches in the South African Premier League. Last round, there were no games due to cup matches, but now we'll see the battles of the 26th round.

Most of the matches will take place over three days — from Friday to Sunday, April 18 to 20. One match has already been played on Tuesday, April 15 — Stellenbosch defeated AmaZulu 1–0 at home. On Friday, April 18, Richards Bay secured a similar victory.

Saturday, April 19, turned out to be the most eventful day of the round. Marumo Gallants played out a draw at home against Golden Arrows, while Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United were also unable to determine a winner. Sekhukhune took care of Polokwane on their home turf and climbed to third place in the league standings.

On Sunday, in the final match of the round, Magesi defeated Galaxy at home and moved further away from the danger zone.

Several other matches of the round have been postponed as Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns participate in the CAF Champions League semifinals.
