South Africa Name 17-Man Squad for Australia Test as Breetzke Replaces Stubbs
South Africa have named their first players for their next game against Australia. The game will be played on Sunday, 18th October, at Gqeberha Stadium.
Key changes: Matthew Breetzke has been included in the squad, while Tristan Stubbs has been dropped. Matthew Breetzke has been in better form, so he's included to feature on Sunday against Australia after playing well in the One Day International series. He scored 171 runs in three matches, including a century against Durban, which is why he’s getting a chance here.
Tristan Stubbs has been out of the team after his form declined, scoring only 33 in the first Test and failing in the One Day International series.
Ryan Rickelton will keep wickets, as he will be the wicketkeeper for the game against Australia on Sunday.
