Souleymanou Aboubakar resigns as coach of Stade Renard in Elite One

The team's poor performance was the reason for his departure.

Since the start of the 2025-26 season of the Cameroonian professional league, Stade Renard has not won a single match. Souleymanou Aboubakar and his players have recorded six draws and two defeats in Elite One.

As a result, the club is bottom of the table with 6 points after 8 games played. Faced with these poor results, Souleymanou Aboubakar submitted his resignation to the Stade Renard management in a letter relayed by the Cameroonian press.

In view of Stade Renard de Melong's poor results in recent times and despite the healthy and frank collaboration that had enabled us to win the Cameroon Cup in the past, I regret to inform you that I am resigning from my position as coach of Stade Renard de Melong.
