Jake Paul publicly apologized to boxing fans following his unanimous decision victory over Mike Tyson. Many boxing enthusiasts were disappointed that Paul failed to knock out Tyson, despite having a clear advantage throughout the fight. In a new video posted on YouTube, Jake Paul admitted that he had held back: "Sorry I didn't knock him out, guys. I really am sorry."
"Seeing that Tyson was getting tired, I didn’t want to inflict any more damage. But I wanted to put on a good show for the fans. At one point, I stopped being aggressive. The desire to knock him out faded because I was hardly getting hit. I respect Mike."
