Solskjær declines chance to return to coaching
Since leaving Manchester United at the end of 2021, Ole Gunnar Solskjær has not resumed his coaching career. However, the Norwegian recently had an opportunity to do so but chose not to take it.
Details: According to Norwegian outlet VG, Molde boss Leif-Arne Langøy attempted to contact Solskjær regarding a coaching role, but the 51-year-old did not respond to the calls. It is believed Solskjær would be more interested in a return to Manchester United, but after the dismissal of his successor Erik ten Hag, the club’s management did not consider him for the role.
Reminder: Since leaving Old Trafford, Solskjær has taken on a technical observer role with UEFA and recently hinted that he might not return to coaching. Notably, Solskjær previously managed Molde twice, from 2011 to 2013 and 2015 to 2018.
