Sobemap FC crowned Benin champions for the 2025–2026 season
Following their victory over AS Cotonou this Saturday
A historic title for the Benin club.
The 2025-2026 season of the Benin professional league, Ligue Pro, reached its conclusion this Saturday, 13 June. At the end of matchday 33, Sobemap FC were crowned champions.
The club beat AS Cotonou 1-0 to seal the title with one matchday remaining. This is the first time in the history of the Benin league that Sobemap FC has won the national championship. At the end of a successful season, Benin’s new champions have amassed 67 points.
