The highly anticipated Qatar Airways Cup final between South Africa and the Barbarians is just around the corner, and Springboks captain Siya Kolisi is gearing up for the clash.
Details: The South African national team’s Instagram page shared a video showing Kolisi’s preparation ahead of the match. The star flanker arrived for a photoshoot with the tournament’s main trophy in hand.
South Africa will face the Barbarians at DHL Stadium in Cape Town on Saturday, June 28, as part of the Qatar Airways Cup. Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 CET.
Following the Barbarians match, the Springboks will take on Italy (July 5 and 12) and Georgia (July 19) in test matches as part of their lead-up to the Rugby Championship.
Reminder: The team has already announced its squad for these encounters. A total of 54 players have been named to take part in the matches against the Barbarians, Italy, and Georgia throughout June and July.
