The line-up of the Elephants’ new coaching staff has now been announced.

The Ivorian national team is embarking on a new era. A few days after Emerse Fae’s departure and the appointment of Hervé Renard, the new coaching staff is now complete.

Whilst Hervé Renard was officially presented on Thursday 6 August, his assistants were also announced. Siramana Dembélé will support the French tactician in his role. The 49-year-old Franco-Ivorian has been appointed assistant manager of the Ivory Coast Elephants.

Siramana Dembélé has experience as an assistant coach, having held the role at several clubs. Dembélé has served as assistant coach at Standard Liège, SC Braga, FC Nantes, FC Porto and, most recently, AC Milan alongside Sérgio Conceição.

He will therefore bring his expertise to work alongside Hervé Renard. In addition to Siramana Dembélé, two other figures have also joined the coaching staff. David Barriac has been appointed fitness coach, whilst Alexandre Kerveillant takes up the role of video analyst.

Hervé Renard and his coaching staff are already gearing up for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, which are set to begin next September.
