Italian world number one, Jannik Sinner, has reached the final of the prestigious ATP 500 tournament in Halle, Germany.

In the semifinal match, Sinner faced off against Zhizhen Zhang. It's worth noting that Zhang had defeated Christopher Eubanks and Daniil Medvedev earlier in the tournament. Zhang managed to put up a fight against the Italian, but Sinner maintained his composure throughout.

During the match, Sinner did not lose a single service game, served seven aces, and converted one break point. In the second set, he saved a set point and forced a tiebreak, which he won to secure his spot in the final.

In the final, Sinner will face Poland's Hubert Hurkacz, who knocked out the tournament's second seed Alexander Zverev in the semifinals.
