The semi-final matches of the Miami Masters unfolded.

In the first encounter, the world's fourth-ranked player, Dmitry Medvedev, faced Italian Jannik Sinner, who sits just one spot above him in the WTA rankings. The match concluded swiftly, with Sinner clinching a spot in the final after just one hour and eleven minutes. Medvedev offered little resistance, conceding the first set 6-1 and the second 6-2.

This marks Sinner's second victory over Medvedev this year, following his win in the Australian Open final in January.

In the second semi-final, the twelfth-ranked Grigor Dimitrov from Bulgaria met German Alexander Zverev, who holds the fifth position in the WTA rankings. Despite being considered the favorite, Zverev lost the first set 4-6 and could only manage to win the second set in a tiebreak 7-6 (7-4). The decisive set favored Dimitrov yet again, as he triumphed 6-4, securing his place in the Masters final.

The final will see Yannick Sinner facing Grigor Dimitrov. This will mark their third meeting in their careers. In 2020, they clashed at the ATP Rome, with Dimitrov emerging victorious (4-6, 6-4, 6-4). They also had two encounters last year, once at the Miami Masters in the round of 16 where Sinner prevailed (6-3, 6-4), and another at the ATP Beijing where Sinner again came out on top (6-4, 3-6, 6-2).

The Miami Masters final is scheduled for tomorrow, March 31st, commencing at 18:30 Central European Time.
