Sinner is making history. Updated ATP rankings following the Miami tournament
On the night from Sunday, March 31st, to Monday, April 1st, the ATP 1000 final took place in Miami, where Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner defeated Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov.
The match ended with a score of 2:0 (6:3 and 6:1), marking Sinner's 13th career title. Thanks to this victory, Jannik Sinner rose to the second place in the ATP rankings. This was a historic moment as he became the first Italian player to reach such a high position.
Novak Djokovic remains in the first place, with 9,725 points. Jannik Sinner now has 8,710 points, and Carlos Alcaraz, in third place, has 8,645 points. Also, among the top five are Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev.
