Sinner has advanced to the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 tournament in Halle

New world number one Jannik Sinner managed to reach the quarter-finals of the prestigious ATP500 tournament in Halle, Germany.
In the 1/8 finals the Italian tennis player defeated Hungarian Fabian Marozsan in three sets, who is only 45th in the ATP rankings.
In the first set, Sinner managed to make a break point in the ninth game and won 6:4. Still, in the second set, Marozsan did not make any mistakes on his serves and took the game to a tie-break, where he won 7:4.
But in the deciding set, Sinner's higher class still played its part. The Italian made two breaks and won 6-3.
In the 1/4 finals, Sinner will play against the winner of the match between Jan-Lennard Struff and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
