Tanzanian side Singida Black Stars FC has officially lifted the three-month suspension placed on Amas Obasogie, confirming the Nigerian goalkeeper has been cleared of match-fixing allegations.
Obasogie had been investigated over concerns linked to Singida Black Stars’ matches against Pamba Jiji FC in the CAF Confederation Cup and Namungo FC in the Tanzania NBC Premier League.
After a thorough review by the club’s management and disciplinary committee, no evidence of match-fixing was found, leading to the immediate lifting of his suspension.
