Simon Ngapandouetnbu continues his impressive season with Montpellier

The Cameroonian international goalkeeper put in another top-class performance on Saturday 31 October, during Montpellier’s 3–0 victory over Annecy at the Parc des Sports, on matchday 11 of Ligue 2.

Kept busy throughout the away fixture, Simon Ngapandouetnbu made nine saves to keep a clean sheet. This performance saw him record his seventh clean sheet of the season in the French second division.

In 11 Ligue 2 matchdays, the Cameroonian international has conceded just six goals. These statistics are testament to his consistency since the start of the season.

Last season, Simon Ngapandouetnbu had already distinguished himself between the posts for Montpellier with 12 clean sheets. The goalkeeper is thus continuing his fine form and establishing himself as one of Montpellier’s key players this season.

Thanks to his performances, Simon Ngapandouetnbu is in the running for Montpellier’s Player of the Month award for October.
