Simon Adingra will make his debut with AS Monaco in the Coupe de France

The Ivorian is part of Sébastien Pocognoli's squad travelling to Strasbourg.

Officially presented to the press on Wednesday, Simon Adingra has received his first call-up. He will make his debut with AS Monaco in the Coupe de France on Thursday 5 February 2026. His French club will take on RC Strasbourg at the Stade de La Meinau at 8pm GMT in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France.

The Ivorian international, who has just signed for Monaco on loan from Sunderland, will have the opportunity to play with his new teammates if he is selected. The Ivorian striker clearly seems to have the confidence of AS Monaco coach Sébastien Pocognoli. Before joining the Monegasque club, he scored one goal and provided one assist for Sunderland in the Premier League this season.
