Silas Katompa extends his contract with Mainz 05

The Congolese winger continues to enjoy the German club’s confidence despite his injury.

Silas Katompa will continue his time with Mainz 05. The Congolese international has renewed his contract with the club. The official announcement of his contract extension was made on 16 June. However, Mainz 05 has not disclosed the terms of Silas Katompa’s new contract.

Nevertheless, the Congolese player, who fractured his tibia and fibula during the UEFA Champions League round of 16, still enjoys the club’s confidence. Upon signing his new contract, Silas Katompa expressed his gratitude.

“I am very grateful to the management of Mainz 05 for their unwavering support. My main aim now is to do everything I can to get back on the pitch as soon as possible. I am determined to prove that the trust placed in me is well-founded.”
