Bayern Munich's management is contemplating a significant overhaul at the end of the season, as reported by Focus magazine.

There's word of a systemic crisis observed by the club's leadership. The pivotal moment came after Bayern's humiliating 1-5 defeat to Eintracht in the Bundesliga, leaving numerous questions unanswered.

The management is dissatisfied with the team's current state and the lack of genuine leaders within. Seasoned players like Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller are nearing the end of their footballing careers, and there's no adequate replacement for them at the moment. Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka were expected to step into these roles, but they haven't met those expectations.

As a result, the Munich club is inclined to restructure its squad by offloading Kimmich, Goretzka, Serge Gnabry, and Alphonso Davies in the summer. Additionally, they plan to bring in several new players, with a priority to reinforce the defensive line.

Earlier reports have indicated Bayern's keen interest in Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo.

In the German championship, Bayern currently holds the second position after 13 rounds, accumulating 32 points. They lag behind Bayer by four points with one game in hand. In the Champions League playoffs, Thomas Tuchel's team secured the top spot in their group.
