Sidy Sarr bounces back in the Libyan Premier League
The former Senegalese international has signed with Al-Qadisiyah Bani Walid.
Sidy Sarr had been without a club since his contract with AS Soliman in Tunisia's Ligue I Pro expired. But he has found a new home to relaunch his career. And it's in another North African league. He will play for Al-Qadisiyah Bani Walid in the Libyan first division.
However, the nature of the Senegalese defensive midfielder's contract has not been disclosed. The 29-year-old player, who trained at Dakar SC, arrives in Libya with a wealth of experience. He played in the Belgian, French and Portuguese leagues before returning to Africa, notably to Tunisia.
This experience could contribute to the performance of Al-Qadisiyah Bani Walid, currently ranked 7th in Group 1 of the Libyan league.
