Barcelona star Lamine Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, has responded to frequent media accusations that he uses drugs. In a live broadcast on his Instagram page, Nasraoui addressed questions about his current situation.

Nasraoui has often faced allegations of appearing on social media under the influence of illegal substances. Now, Mounir has categorically denied all such accusations.

“Show some respect for me. If you don’t know me, don’t talk about me. I suffer from epilepsy and take five pills a day. I ask for respect because nobody insults you. Sometimes I walk down the street and I get robbed. People take advantage of me because of my illness,” Nasraoui explained.

It’s worth noting that his son, 17-year-old Lamine Yamal, has emerged this year as one of Barcelona’s leaders, helping the club win La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup. He also lifted the Euro 2024 trophy with Spain and recently reached the Nations League final, where they lost to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.
