Former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury believes he should have paid a £10 million fine and postponed his first fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

Quote: "I did a lot of sparring and was able to train properly, but my cut eye was bothering me.

If you look at it rationally, I probably should have postponed the fight and paid the £10 million fine. But it doesn’t matter now because we’re here, and I’m going to get the job done on Saturday night," Fury told Sky Sports.

Reminder: In May this year, Fury lost to Usyk in their bout for the undisputed heavyweight title across the WBA-Super, WBO, IBF, IBO, The Ring, and WBC versions. The defeat was the first and remains the only one of the Briton's professional career.

The rematch between the two fighters will take place on December 21. Previously, we compiled all the key details for the highly anticipated second clash between the British and Ukrainian champions.
