The fans' fury was sparked by Nantes management's recent decision to accommodate the Parisian giants. Kita officially agreed to reschedule their league clash with PSG, giving the reigning Champions League winners extra time to recover and prepare for their crucial showdown with Chelsea. According to the supporters, their president showed weakness and betrayed the club's interests in favor of loyalty to the Parisian sheikhs.
The atmosphere at the Beaujoire stands was electric: alongside the leaflets, fans chanted insulting slogans, accusing Kita of serving big money and turning Nantes into a convenient partner for top clubs.
For the record, the match itself ended with a narrow 1-0 win for Angers.
