A tense moment unfolded during the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas on Saturday when Hollywood actor Brad Pitt appeared to faint on the track, reports Daily Mail.
However, the panic quickly subsided when it was revealed that the incident was part of the filming for Pitt's upcoming movie. The star, dressed in full racing gear, was captured walking unsteadily before dramatically collapsing on the track—entirely scripted for the scene.
Pitt is starring in a film centered on the world of Formula 1, playing Sonny Hayes, a retired driver who makes a comeback with the fictional team APXGP to mentor a young up-and-coming racer.
The project is being co-produced by Pitt and F1 legend Lewis Hamilton, with much of the filming taking place during actual Formula 1 events. Pitt was previously spotted shooting scenes during the Mexican Grand Prix. The movie is being created in collaboration with Formula 1 to ensure authenticity.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski, known for his work on Top Gun: Maverick with Tom Cruise, the film is set to premiere in June 2025.
