Shock court ruling! Mbappé ordered to pay damages to PSG

Details: According to reports by RMC Sport, the Paris Court of Appeal has officially ordered Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé to pay €60,000 in damages to Paris Saint-Germain. The legal sanction stems from conservatory measures previously enforced by the 27-year-old French superstar's legal team amid their bitter ongoing financial dispute.

During the legal confrontation, Mbappé's representatives had executed an asset freeze on PSG's corporate bank accounts, leaving the funds completely inaccessible for 45 days during the spring of 2025. However, the appellate court ruled the seizure unjustified, concluding that the temporary freeze caused direct financial harm to the Parisian club that required adequate compensation.

Nevertheless, the tribunal rejected PSG's claims regarding moral prejudice, as well as the French champions' request for a symbolic one-euro fee for reputational damage. The broader conflict regarding the staggering €55 million in unpaid wages and signing bonuses demanded by Mbappé remains active across multiple judicial and sports disciplinary jurisdictions.

It is worth noting that according to Transfermarkt, the 27-year-old French forward's current market value stands at €200 million.
