Shakur Stevenson has revealed his future plans.

In an interview with talkSPORT, the former world champion expressed his openness to the prospect of facing Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko in his next match.

"In the crystal ball, I see Lomachenko. He will have a reason to fight me once I have a belt around my waist. I envision Lomachenko as the next one. I think it's a significant bout," he declared.

It's worth mentioning that on November 16, Stevenson will be contending with Edwin De Los Santos for the vacant WBC lightweight title. Additionally, promoter Bob Arum has stated that Lomachenko might have a title fight against George Kambosos in February.

Shakur Stevenson is an American professional boxer, a former world champion in the WBO super featherweight division (2019–2020), and in the WBO (2021–2022) and WBC (2022) lightweight divisions. He is also a silver medalist in the 2016 Olympic Games and a former member of the "USA Knockouts" team in the WSB semi-professional league.

Interestingly, the American boxer recently expressed his disappointment with former three-weight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko, as Lomachenko declined to face him in a bout.
