The fiancée of Argentine defender Valentín Barco, who plays for Sevilla, revealed on Instagram that their home had been burglarized. The incident occurred just days after the couple celebrated their engagement, with Barco proposing to his girlfriend.

In her post, she expressed suspicion that someone close to them might have been involved, although she refrained from naming any specific individuals.

"Obviously we’ve got cameras. Two men got in from the house next door, they spent 50 minutes inside and left 10 minutes before we arrived. The strange thing is only an employee knew our movements and the only possible entry point and he left seven minutes before the intruders entered. We’ve already reported the break-in to police and hope it gets resolved," she explained.

Valentín Barco and Yaz Jaureguy have been together since December of last year. Just a week ago, Barco proposed, and Yaz happily said yes.

The couple appears deeply in love, even having matching tattoos with each other's names.

Barco is currently on loan at Sevilla, with his rights owned by English club Brighton.
