This isn't the first time matches have been halted.
Details: Once again, matches at the WTA 250 tournament in Hobart have been interrupted due to rain. Earlier, organizers had already announced a rain delay of 45–60 minutes, after which play resumed and the players returned to the courts. However, the weather took a turn for the worse—the rain intensified, forcing organizers to suspend play once more for at least another hour.
The following matches had to be stopped:
- Caty McNally (USA) vs Kaja Juvan (Slovenia);
- Daria Semenistaja (Latvia) vs Moyuka Uchijima (Japan).
The resumption of play depends entirely on the weather improving.
Reminder: Legendary tennis star Novak Djokovic announced his departure from the ATP.
