Several South American clubs interested in signing Sergio Ramos
After leaving Sevilla at the end of last season, Sergio Ramos has yet to find a new club, although he appears to have options for continuing his career.
Details: According to TyC Sports, several Brazilian clubs are interested in signing the Spanish center-back. Additionally, Argentine football giant Boca Juniors has expressed interest. The club may finalize his signing at the start of 2025.
Last season, Ramos demonstrated that he can still perform at a high level despite his age, which is one of the reasons Boca is pursuing him.
Previously, there were reports of interest in the 38-year-old defender from clubs in Saudi Arabia, MLS, Japan, and Turkey. Rumors also circulated about a potential return to Real Madrid, but that move did not materialize.
Reminder: It was earlier reported that Ramos had discussed a potential collaboration with Boca's president Juan Riquelme and head coach Fernando Gago, a former teammate from his Real Madrid days. However, those talks did not lead to any concrete developments.
