"Settling for the Super Cup is not enough": Conceição urges focus on Serie A

AC Milan’s hard-fought victory in the Italian Super Cup was a welcome achievement, but head coach Sérgio Conceição is urging the team to address bigger challenges in Serie A.

Details: The Portuguese manager reminded his players that Milan trails league leaders Napoli by 17 points, emphasizing that a club with seven Champions League titles in its history cannot be satisfied with just this trophy.

Quote: "We wanted and deserved the Super Cup, but we are 17 points behind first place. For a club with 19 league titles and seven Champions League trophies, settling for the Super Cup is not enough.

We must focus on tomorrow’s game and aim to climb as high as possible in the standings. The Super Cup is in the past," said Conceição.
